Focus Areas

No matter the focus area, Aegis narrows knowledge gaps using the latest research and the appropriate medium and technology for each audience.

Many disease manifestations require knowledge of a variety of biological and clinical disciplines to understand their pathologies. Using the latest research and expert knowledge, we excel at integrating knowledge in many focus areas to explain disease pathophysiology and drug mechanisms of action.

We don’t just rely on the latest technologies, media, or learning techniques for delivering our communication tools geared to a specific or several focus areas; we adapt the most appropriate ones for the intended audience.

Hematology

Hematology

For over a decade Aegis has been producing education in hematology appropriately targeted for each audience.

Whether creating a backgrounder or eLearning module for educating a sales force in the mechanism of drug action on a hematologic disease, or a conference summary for hematologists, Aegis uses whatever medium is appropriate for the optimum learning of its intended audience.

Immunology

Immunology

We utilize our expertise in conducting immunology advisory boards to identify knowledge gaps that our educational services can narrow.

The Aegis team facilitated an advisory board on neuroimmunology three weeks after the initial request. We were able to advise the client on the agenda, assist with slide development, conduct the advisory board, and provide an executive summary after one orientation conversation with the client. Our satisfied client determined that our background, practices, and tools allowed her to focus on other aspects of her job.

Molecular Biology

Molecular Biology

Aegis’s knowledge of molecular biology and how highly educated adults learn helped us produce a tool to teach several audiences at once.

We applied our expertise in molecular biology to create a presentation for nurses and physicians that illustrates how specific mutations interfere with signaling pathways influencing tumor growth and suppression in several cancers. We also highlighted how targeted therapies can slow tumor growth and improve patient care.

Neurology

Neurology

Aegis uses the medium most appropriate for explaining difficult-to-understand concepts.

When our client, a product manager for a conference exhibit, asked us to produce educational materials for explaining the mechanisms occurring in the brain for patients with multiple sclerosis, we used not only our traditional media of videos and slide shows, but also developed 3D display models. The project manager’s reaction: “The quality of the materials you provided really made our booth stand out!”
