Clade™ Personal Health Record Tool
This is a mobile application (app) for the iPhone that lets users intuitively track all aspects of their personal health. Coming soon to the iPhone’s App Store, users will receive a full electronic system that keeps their health records in one coherent place to replace the haphazard paper-based system with data in multiple locations. This simple application lets individuals have fully informed conversations with their health care professionals.
Users can enter information on healthcare providers, health conditions, lab results, medications, surgeries, upcoming tests, and emergency contact info. Because typing all of this into an iPhone can be intimidating, Aegis has developed ways to make data entry less tedious and time-consuming:
- After logging on to the Aegis website for the application, users can enter names and data via their computer keyboard, and the database will wirelessly “push” their entries into the iPhone app. No extra software required. No additional cost.
- After opening the app, users have the option of clicking icons to enter data or using a Wizard to step them through initial data entry.
- With a built-in database of health conditions and medications, users can type just a few letters into a field and bring up a list from which to choose. Bad spellers, rejoice!
The application even lets users generate a report to email or print out for a family member or new physician.
Aegis Compliance Training Module
This is an eLearning tool directed at commercial and medical affairs personnel who need to understand compliance regulations when discussing and representing the company’s therapeutics with health care professionals. Being in compliance with the regulations is critically important for every biopharmaceutical company, but small companies on the verge of commercializing especially need a quick, efficient way to learn the basics of regulation compliance.
With our eLearning module we provide a thorough practical summary, highlighting key areas internal personnel will likely have to know in real situations when speaking with health care professionals. Two of our executives, who each have more than 20 years experience in marketing, sales, and medical affairs for well-known biopharmaceutical companies, have personally tailored the vignettes within the module to represent situations their counterparts may encounter in the field.
The Aegis module includes a set of assessments that certify an employee has completed the training and understands the most up-to-date regulations.
